Back to school today. 7am is a ridiculous time -_-'
I'm keeping myself awake with a mixture of Boost and pop punk. And my uniform still makes me look silly.

Chapstick, chapped lips and things like chemistry

I'm fully aware that I can come across as a very negative person at times, or at least one who worries far more than necessary, particularly over minor things. However, I like to think that I'm not as much a determined pessimist, as I am a subtle and patient optimist, believing that every situation has its silver lining, or can at least be salvaged... after the panic is over.
There's probably a lesson to be learnt in any predicament, however uncomfortable.
Today's most important lesson was probably:
Don't lick random chemicals
I regretted sticking my finger into a tub of nail varnish remover in Superdrug when I absent-mindedly licked it all off again, as if it had been a tub of Nutella and not harmful (and gross) chemicals =]
It wasn't much fun. It tasted too acidy and felt like an electric shock in my mouth. The sensation lasted far longer than my interest in the whole thing, and I tasted it on my lips for hours.
However, it didn't kill me ^^
So I'll give it 4/10. Would not recommend.

Today has been a great day, and all full of my best people ^^

Playing it safe...

Early morning status update time... I really have screwed up my routine sleeping-wise.
It's after 3am
I am eating a biscuit and periodically frowning at my greasy fringe in the mirror
The songs that make me happiest right now seem to be The Cure's "Friday I'm In Love", "Girl From Mars" by Ash and, my all time favourite, "Kiss The Girl" from The Little Mermaid.
I am declaring myself no longer sick
It has been 18 days since something made me cry
I have made a new and very grown-up sounding email address for myself... and am frustrated by the lack of emails
I can't find my Gameboy
I am feeling oddly unsettled, but God's presence is strong and all's good.
I am hoping Pingy was serious about a cup of tea after we get our AS results. I might need it.
It's really warm...

Anyway... I'm feeling a bit like Schrodinger's Cat right now. That's probably the best way to explain it.
In that I am in two completely different states at the same time until there's some sort of a conclusion. Because I don't know what's going on ^^

Not exactly related to the above, but Proverbs 4:23, people.... I'm trying to figure out what exactly it means to "Guard your heart". Do I do that?
